" Ln. 25, Dayong St., " is a series of solo exhibitions centered around household items. The title is derived from a specific address within my home where I grew up. Following a series of three solo exhibitions, including "" Ln. 25, Dayong St., Part Two" in the first half of 2016, and " Ln. 25, Dayong St., Epilogue," my personal creative journey is expanding beyond the realm of the private. In the future, I will continue to focus on the interaction between objects, people, and society. However, I will no longer be the central figure in the creation process; instead, I will shift the context of my work to a more public perspective, considering the broader social relations. Choosing a part of my home address as the theme for this exhibition serves as a prelude and sets the stage for the show. The concept of "home" is integrated into the exhibition's layout and design. This transforms the exhibition space into an environment that blurs the lines between an exhibition area and a showhome, aiming to create a viewing space that goes beyond merely presenting artworks for display. The project aims to challenge the authoritative boundaries that traditional exhibitions often impose on how viewers interact with artworks. This project completes the creative context I have been developing since 2014 and sets the direction for my future work. It emphasizes the importance of the physicality of sculptures and their impact on the fluidity of how viewers engage with artworks. Additionally, it introduces a flexible and innovative exhibition mechanism. From the exhibition's title to promotional materials designed in the form of a book, everything is designed to guide viewers through the experience, allowing the artworks to resonate more profoundly with the audience, free from the constraints of the creator.
