About 

賈茜茹（1984.b）當代藝術創作者。

2012年碩士畢業於國立臺北藝術大學美術創作學系現居於台灣生活及創作。

 

擅長雕塑、裝置藝術、與跨領域合作。 喜歡自言自語與萬物對話，將生活中透過「人」所生產出來各種與物品之間的關係作為創作的元素，創作上混合個人經驗後將生活再現與重製，延伸日常行為的身體感，重塑生活物品的樣貌，藉由作品處理某種細微或難以察覺的集體共識，為真實生活生產可變異視角，讓觀眾對生活可以產生超脫於日常的想像。

 

2012年以「塑膠袋們」一作品獲得高雄獎首獎，2013年3-6月駐村於紐西蘭，並舉辦個展“CITY COLOR”。2014-2016專注創作 「大勇街25巷，」系列作品，本系列於2016年獲得台新藝術獎第十五屆提名，獲2018台北獎入選。2017年2-4月受菲律賓當代藝術機構98B邀請，得文化部補助，駐村於菲律賓並舉辦個展“SMile”。2018年4-5月於澳洲RMIT駐村，並舉辦個展“CITY COLOUR_Balanced Gray : Crystal of Shadow of Stone of…”。在同一年，「這是一個在自助洗衣店的故事」得國藝會2018年大型創作補助，並獲選北師美術館2019年作夢計畫，受2019台新獎提名。2020-2022年受邀參與狠主流主辦的狠配計畫「黃玠瑋 x 賈茜茹」、白晝之夜、Ｃ-LAB、忠泰美術館、花蓮城市空間藝術節、松菸文化園區、台北市政府文化局、鳳甲美術館等單位合作。2024獲「113年文化部選送文化相關人才出國駐村交流計畫」於馬來西亞失落當代藝術空間駐村(Lostgens’)，並舉辦個展「城市色彩：吉隆坡白」。

​Chia Chien-Ju (b. 1984) is a contemporary artist.

She received her MFA from the Department of Fine Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts in 2012 and currently lives and works in Taiwan.

​

Specializing in sculpture, installation art, and interdisciplinary collaboration, she is drawn to self-dialogue and conversations with all things. Her practice explores the relationships between people and objects generated through everyday life as key creative material. By blending personal experience with representations and reconstructions of daily life, she extends the bodily sense of ordinary actions and reshapes familiar objects. Through her works, subtle or often unnoticed forms of collective understanding are examined, generating shifting perspectives on reality and inviting viewers to imagine life beyond the everyday.

Since receiving First Prize at the Kaohsiung Award in 2012 for Plastic Bags, Chia Chien-Ju has developed an active international practice through exhibitions, residencies, and public projects. Her major works include the Lane 25, Dayong Street series, nominated for the Taishin Arts Award and selected for the Taipei Art Awards, as well as This Is a Story in a Self-Service Laundry, supported by the National Culture and Arts Foundation and later featured in the Dream Project.

She has undertaken residencies and solo exhibitions in New Zealand, Manila, Australia, and Kuala Lumpur, while also collaborating with institutions such as C-LAB, Jut Art Museum, and Hong-gah Museum. In 2024, she was awarded the Ministry of Culture Fellowship for Cultural Professionals.
